After ten years of already successful cooperation and one year of consultation under the "epidemic situation," the Sino-German joint venture company "smartGAS China" was officially established in the National Economic and Technological Development Zone (CEDZ) in January 2021. Andreas Hester is jointly appointed as General Manager of smartGAS China by SIGAS General Manager Chen Mo and smartGAS Mikrosensorik GmbH General Manager Jörg Ronde.

The products serve applications like emission measurement, industrial process control, fruit storage and ripening as well as high voltage SF6 measurement or refrigerant detection.
On the basis of the available OEM sensors smartGAS also offers custom adaptation to specific customer requirements. From modification of the measuring range of an OEM sensor to development of a completely new solution, all is possible.
The company has its headquarters and the whole production located in Heilbronn, Germany and is partnering with the ZFHN for more than a decade.
